Scroll scrolls too much?

So I play this game where I use scroll to adjust stuff on a dot scale that looks like this:
I used to play that game on my laptop and it was all fine, when I scrolled one time it moved one dot. Now I got a new PC and encountered a problem: I scroll the wheel one time, but two dots move. It's really annoying and I have no clue what causes it nor why is it different on my PC and on my old laptop.

@leocg huh, the same thing is happening, so I guess then it's not opera's fault. Do you have any idea how could I solve this problem?

@leocg yeah, that changed. the screen on my old laptop was much, much smaller. I was thinking that this is the problem too
