Hi, im having some issues with minor websites allowing them to open new tabs if i just tap anywhere inside a website they open a new tab with adds. This only goes by a minor number of websites but still anyoing that no addblock seems to be working against it. The addblock is doing exacly what is says and works fine apart from a few sites that is able to open new tabs or another another opera web browser.

Well, ad blocker is not pop-up blocker. And depending on how the pop-up is triggered, it may not be that easy to block them.

It is a user-generated event meaning the browser has no way of determining that you do not want the window to open. Unless you are blocking the specific code from the website, you would not be able to block it efficiently. If you were to block every new window, you would have to give explicit permission each time you intend to open a link in a new window. Therefore, leaving it be is more convenient.

We used to have a filter list that I believe merged with EasyList or vanished altogether. It is rare to see such unwanted pop-ups or windows triggered by websites today. You may want to consider avoiding these sites.
