[Solved]Import History file

I'm moving from Cyberfox to Opera. I'have no problem in migrating bookmarks (through importing a bookmarks.html file) but what about the history file ? I could extract it and have as a json, csv or txt file but how could I import it in Opera ?

@glad-alone Did you try the data import tool in the settings page (opera://settings/importData)?

@leocg said in Import History file:
opera://settings/importData
thanks for your prompt reply!!!
Yes, of course I tried the import tool; unfortunately my default browser (Cyberfox) doesn't show up in the list, my only possibility is to import a bookmark file (and it works flawlessly) but nothing to do about history -

@glad-alone Install Firefox really quickly if it's not installed, run it and close it. Then, its profile directory, replace the history file (I guess that's places.sqlite which also contains bookmarks) with a copy of your Waterfox history file. Then, in Opera, try the "Import from Firefox" wizard to import the history.
If that doesn't work just like that, you might have to replace all of the files and folders in the Firefox profile with Waterfox's.
Worth a try at least.

@burnout426 Thanks a lot: quick and dirty but it works (it's enough to replace places.sqlite neglecting the rest of the profile)
