Out of Memory When VPN is Open - Opera Version: 44.0.2510.857 Windows 10 x64

When VPN is open, the memory usage of Opera goes up to 2 GBs and it starts giving "Out of Memory" error; after some time, Opera crashes. Memory leak particularly happens when videos are being played while VPN is active. In my experience, it is "no VPN = no out of memory error".

This problem has been continuing at least since Opera v42 on a Windows 10 64x for me. This issue has been posted many times but it was not addressed by any updates to my knowledge.
