[Solved]Google NCR as search engine by default

Hi there - I'd like to have the non-country-redirected Google as my default search engine - i.e. the one that operates from the url bar. I added http://google.com/ncr %s to the "Other search engines" section in the Advanced Settings. However, I cannot seem to use this engine by default - the local Google (www.google.fr) continues to kicks in by default: when I launch a query in the search bar or in the URL bar, it only shows local results. Any tips or help would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks.

@leocg I tried this:
Name: NCR
Keyword: n
Address: http://google.com/ncr %sWhen I try to search, for example "GDPR" (without quotes) I key in:
n gdpr
and I get the following Google error:
- That’s an error.
The requested URL /ncr%20gdpr was not found on this server. That’s all we know.
Many thanks in advance for you help.

Not sure if the ncr thing works anymore. Did you try
https://www.google.com/search?q=%s
for the address in the search engine setting with the 'n' keyword?
