      Where did the exe-button go when I download a file?
      This goes for pdf's as well.
      I always have to save the file or pdf first, only then I can execute or open it.
      It's been bothering me for months, can't find the settings that causes it

      Anyone out there who can help? 😧

      run or save.jpg

        @doortjedartel It was never there, since Opera Chromium never had such button.

          @leocg

          Couldn't answer you because I was banned for a few days for the use of capitals....😶

          But thanks for clearing that up, indeed, it is an Opera-issue... Never realised that before.
          As this really is an annoying shortcoming for me I decided to go back using Maxthon again.
          But meh..... no.
          Then tried Firefox, nope again.
          Tried Chrome, nope....

          So i'm back here 🙂
          Because for all the rest of it I like Opera the best. And as I have three monitors (yippie!!) I now keep Maxthon open on one of the other screens and when I need to download a file, or want to read a pdf, I copy the address into Maxthon, click 'download' and voilá. Works fine.

          Even handier of course would be if Opera also added the 'run' or 'open' feature to the download box!
