Whenver I'm playing videos on opera on youtube or other sites, when I go full screen the videos stops playing. For youtube the screen just stays black and the whole browser lags and other websites the videos just do not play anymore unless I restart my laptop.

State your browser version and system specs.

First check if your graphic card driver is up to date. Also try disabling hardware acceleration.
