Opera GX sidebar hangs over window, is useless for vertical tab extensions

The sidebar in Opera GX opens over top of the left side of the open webpage instead of the sidebar taking up its own section of the browser window separate to the webpage. This makes vertical tab extensions unusable.
In normal opera the "sidebar extensions in browser sidebar" flag can be disabled to fix this, but Opera GX does not seem to have this setting available.

I can't possibly use a browser without vertical tabs anymore so this behaviour ruins GX.

@cerzel It seems that they were testing the merged sidebar on GX and now they implementing it on regular opera too.

@cerzel for me that doesn't even work in standard Opera anymore.

The sidebar opens over the open webpage instead of taking up it's own section of the browser window.

Which is a shame. I loved that feature, allowed me to have "2 tabs open at the same time in 1 window".
