[Solved]There's no way to add sites to Speed Dial

stevenjcee last edited by leocgWhen I open the Speed Dial page, all it shows (aside from news articles) are four icons, which are still shown as "suggestions" even though I've clicked on "add to speed dial". And there is not + alongside to add more manually, as it shows in the Help Section!
So why is this happening, and is not what is supposed to be happening? Why do the four sites I've already noted to be "added to speed dial", still showing up only as "suggestions", and why is there no plus sign, so I can add the ones I want?

@stevenjcee Maybe you have disabled Speed Dials? Have you tried to right click on a site or click on the heart button in the right of address bar to add it to Speed Dials?

@leocg How would I have disabled them? All I see on the Speed DIal page are a few "Suggestions", not a single actual speed dial site! When I click the heart, it only shows me where the bookmark of that site is, nothing mentioned about adding it to Speed Dial, and when I right click on the url, nothing at all happens. So how am I supposed to ever have any sites back on the page?

@stevenjcee In the bookmarks page, do you see anything inside the Speed Dial folder?

@stevenjcee In Settings > Start Page, check if Hide Speed Dial isn't enabled by chance?

Well yes, thanks, they were disabled, which makes no sense. How could I possibly want speed dial suggestions, while not wanting speed dial to be visible? You'd think that option wouldn't be available if someone's disabled Speed Dial... Guess it will start working again, but I know I didn't disable it, and can't imagine that would be the default setting... I wonder if there's some setting preventing my syncing from working, as well...

I don't see how I could've done it by accident, as it's something I never would've selected. Especially since I did select to allow speed dial suggestions.
