How to instantly start searching when opening Opera?

In Firefox i can simply start it and then just type to search stuff on Google. In Opera i have to manually click the search bar after starting to search. Is this a problem with Opera GX or Windows?

Does that mean you are using Opera GX? If so, do you have GX Corner in the tab bar or did you move it to the sidebar?
