[Solved]Amazon.it keeps crashing at login

hallo, looking for some help here.
i've just encountered a strange issue where, when trying to login in my amazon (.it) account the page crashes returning a message stating that "Page crashed. Unfortunately something caused this page to quit. It might have been an extension conflict or some other reason. Please try reloading the page"
it only happens on this site, i tried to login to several other pages and it doesn't seem to have any problem but this.
already emptied cache and deleted cookies, rebooted opera and PC as well but alas nothing changes.
any suggestions?
OS/Opera/other drivers might all be up to date.

@mrmauz How it behaves in other browsers, specially Chromium based ones? The problem happens if you use a new clean Opera profile?

@leocg in Edge it works just fine, got no other browser ATM, gonna download one and try it.
how can i try a clean Opera profile?

edit; in Chrome works fine too

I am having the same problem! I have cleared amazon cookies and browser cache and it still crashes.

I figured it out. Turn off ad blocking and it works fine. Dastardly.

looks like you might be onto something: actually it's enough to just turn off the tracker blocking on the inbuilt ad blocker (it's called privacy protection i think?)
weird enough i'm having ghostery running along and it doesn't recognize ANY tracker at all...

Well I turned ad blocking and paused ghostery. Logged in, then I turned them back on, everything worked fine. Something with the login process that conflicts.
