Deleted old Bookmarks Re-appearing on secondary PC

Primary PC, Delete some bookmarks
Secondary PC, Sync brings them back.
Launching Opera on second PC initiates sync process which makes old bookmarks re-appear.
This has happened many times, any way to fix this issue? -

Yes I deleted Trash after deleting the bookmarks. I use 2nd PC every 2-3 days, so when I use Opera on it, the Bookmarks there re-sync and come back. So I delete them, empty trash, and everything is fine until this happens again.

After deleting the bookmarks and emptying the trash, are the bookmarks at least gone from sync.opera.com?

Hi! Interesting! So I checked sync.opera.com and the deleted bookmarks are still there! No wonder they keep syncing again. What should I do?!

I would download the Opera installer, launch it, click "options", set "install path" to a folder named "Opera Temp" on your desktop, set "install for" to "standalone installation", uncheck "import data from default browser" and install. In that Opera, log into sync and choose to only sync your bookmarks. Then, when the unwanted bookmarks come in, move them to the trash there and empty the trash. Then, sign out of sync and log back into sync. Then, check sync.opera.com again.
If they're still there at sync.opera.com, they might be stuck on the server for some reason where you'll then need to choose "reset my sync data" and start all over.
Before you do any of that though, right-click one of your open tabs and choose to save all open tabs as a speed dial folder. Then, export your bookmarks (at the URL
opera://bookmarks
) and your passwords (at the URLopera://settings/passwords
) just for good measure.
