I synchronized my data including my passwords before reinstalling Windows. I reinstalled Opera but there is a lock on the password box and it is grayed out.
How to recover my passwords?
Thank you
Excuse for the english. I'm french and it's a google traduction -

@annie-guignet Login to sync should be enough. Did you do that?

@annie-guignet In the website it will always show as locked. You need to login to sync like you did in the previous Opera installation and not to https://sync.opera.com/web/

@leocg
Thanks but i don't understand what you means by "You need to login to sync like you did in the previous Opera installation" -

@annie-guignet "Menu -> Synchronize". Then, in the Sync dialog, click "sign in", type your username and password and click "sign in". Then, adjust what to sync.

Are you saying that when you goto the URL
opera://settings/passwords
, it's empty but shows a lock icon implying that you need to unlock it somehow to see the passwords? -

How did you backup your password?
i will like to contribute if it was backed up using opera or a third party software.
