Bing not showing Bing background image news scroll

This started a couple months ago and I cannot figure out what happened. For some reason when I open Opera (I have Bing as my homepage) it no longer shows the Bing background daily image or the scroll of stories currently trending on Bing. Just the search bar and a gray background. It only does this on one laptop. I have gone through reset everything back to default in both Opera and Bing and nothing.
Yeah, not the end of the world but Bing is what I prefer and I am just finding it odd it suddenly stop working in Opera. All other websites and images/graphics/links show on all other websites.
It is only on the Bing homepage that seems to have an issue in Opera. Thanks for any help and or replies on this.
The search engine part works fine it is only on the Bing homepage.

Version: 42.0.2393.94 - Opera is up to date
Update stream: Stable
System: Windows 7 64-bit (WoW64)Opera and Win 7 are both kept updated. The only extensions I use are ghostery and Adblock Plus (both are updated). I disabled both of them and it is the same thing whether they are on or off. I also tried enabling (whitelisting) Bing in both extesions still nothing.

I'm having issues with this as well. No change while using Opera in private mode.
The browser itself is still running okay, but Bing seems to be causing the tab to lag. It loads up eventually though, in about a minute or two.

No it does not show in a private window. It is the same thing no background image or scroll of current events that used to show. Even after leaving it for a couple minutes or longer. Very odd. Wondering if I should take Opera off and reinstall it was hoping perhaps others had the same issue.

If you are using the ad-blocker, did you check with it disabled for that page?
Also, are you using Turbo or the VPN by chance?

There is a high chance of it being Microsoft doing browser sniffing. I remember many people complaining that Bing was showing a different page for Opera.
