Opera on Laptop not Sysncing with Opera on Desktop

Although Sync is enabled on both laptop and desktop, the sync Icon (little guy with a green dot next to its head) next to the easy setup icon does not appear on the laptop and the laptop does not sync with the desktop.
What needs to be done for the laptop to show the sync icon and be able to sync?Any and all help is greatly appreciated!

@mrubioc You should see the sync icon only when you login to sync and synchronization should start just after the login.
Opera says that you are logged in to Sync in both devices? Did you already tried to logout and login again?
Hi there!
I have also faced the same issue. I am unable to retrieve my data on Desktop. My laptop had damaged but I had opera installed and sync was set. Now when I login the same ID on desktop PC, I am unable to get back my data? what you would suggest for me here?Regards.!

Might want to check sync.opera.com to make sure your data is actually there.
At the loss of your data, you can reset your sync data at sync.opera.com to try and get sync working again on all devices.

Vow! Thanks a lot. It really worked. However, I could get retrieve a half of my data. Perhaps it was not synced properly. But still it is fine. Thanks a lot
