VPN Virtual location not working when wanting to watch TV from abroad.

At the moment I'm abroad but sometimes I watch Dutch TV programs on "uitzendinggemist.nl". Some of these programs can only be seen in the Netherlands and then a VPN comes in handy. But despite my Opera VPN Virtual location is being set in the Netherlands I still get the message from "uitzendinggemist.nl" that I can't watch the program that I want to watch because of "geographical legal restrictions".
Actually this is the first time I've ever encountered this problem using a VPN with a virtual location in the Netherlands.
Rather disappointing and the question is: how come? -

I have the same problem, sometimes it looks like the system is working, but only for the advertising video's.
It looks like the media player can't make an connection. I have tried to make the connection with "Disable non-proxied UDP" disenabled as with enabled. -

Repeat: ( see 25 November ) I try to watch Dutch TV from Spain with Opera VPN. When I have contact with the site, f.e. Kijk.nl , they show my the advertising video's but when they switch to the main video I get the message " The video you are trying to watch is currently unavailable " . I have the same problem with the other sites of Dutch TV's

Quote: "In settings > Privacy and security > WebRTC, do you have 'Disable non-proxied UDP' enabled?"
My answer: yes, I did. Thanks for the replies. I'm now going to open a new thread about how I can contact the developers of Opera, without having to open a Twitter account, because I want to ask them about this situation which to me could be a flaw in the system. I've used many VPN service providers in the run of the years (and still do) and have never encountered a problem like this. To me it puts the reputation of Opera at stake.

It redirects me to http://www.npo.nl/ and it seems that Flash is also used on that site.

This site seems to use Flash and plugin content doesn't go through VPN. That's why plugins are set to 'click to play' when VPN is enabled.
Like I mentioned in an earlier post this is the first time I've encountered this problem. I've used many VPN service providers in the past and they all did work when trying to watch TV programs from "uitzendinggemist.nl".
I just tried to use another VPN service provider and got connected immediately. -

I faced similar problems a while ago. I tried contacting my ISP to ask him if he'd blocked them but he said it wasn't. I then moved to a VPN to unblock region-locked content and binge on my favorite TV shows like GoT, Mr. Robot and Elementary. VPNs like NODE VPN, IPVANISH and Ivacy VPN do exceptionally well for streaming region-locked content.

Up till this moment I haven't received a satisfied answer solving this VPN-problem.
For example, I am connected with NPO's -uitzending gemist-, without VPN, no problem. Then I make the connection via VPN , I receive the advertising video's, but the main video don't appear. Under " Element controleren " ( Cotrol+Shift+C )I can see that the system stops at " video-player loading " . For my this is clearly an Opera problem . What is Opera doíng to solve this and in what time ? -

Problem partly solved.
My problem with the Opera VPN looks like it is in the choose of the Plug-ins in " Menu>services>websites>plug-ins>Start all plug-ins ( or start all known plug-ins, advised by Opera ) . Opera's standard choice is " click to play ". So every time when I start the VPN ( Spain-Netherlands) I have to change the adjustments . This is a small problem.
