No extension support for Opera mobile anymore?

I have the latest version (52.2.2517.139816) and when I go to the extensions page and click add it just downloads it to my download folder.
Tried googling to see if there was a separate site for mobile extensions, but came up with nada. -

@arucardo @leocg It was called Opera Mobile Labs. Opera launched it in 2012. Here's the announcement https://dev.opera.com/articles/extensions-opera-mobile-labs/ It was Presto based and short lived. There's confirmation that it's was abandonded in this Forum post https://forums.opera.com/topic/9109/opera-mobile-labs-build-with-extensions-for-android-it-doesn-t-work-in-lolipop

They should add extensions to the current version or at the very least swap out the built in ad blocking which doesn't work very well with ublock.
