i am on Windows 10 64 bit Build 1809 I have today updated Opera to 60.0.3235 .59 from the 60.0.3235.27 version.
The problem appeared recently in 60,0.3235.27 version.
Previously on my Start page the Navigation bar (on screen's left side) which included Bookmarks, displayed as well as my Speed Dials (I only had 3)

Now only the Speed Dials display and that screen occupies almost the full page.
I can access my Bookmarks by "playing around": but have been unable to reduce the screen size showing Speed Dials
      only.

How can I get back to my original (has been so for many years) of showing clearly the Navigation Bar plus my Speed Dials on the same start page?.

You need to enable/pin the sidebar.

HI leocg I did have Show Sidebar enabled.
I want to widen the Sidebar. I checked under Opera Extensions re Sidebar which has some displays one of which is what I used to have.
Unfortunately that " Display in Extensions " is just that -an image-.
It does not tell one how to enable such display.
IO have tried dragging the right edge of the Sidebar to make it wider but nothing happens.

Yes I had tried that as well as Ctrl - (and also Zoom resizing) before submitting my first Post
