Unexpected and unwelcome change to Sidebar

Why is the Sidebar now an all-or-nothing option? It was just fine being visible solely on the Speed Dial page! I don't need to see it when I'm looking at websites, I only use it when I'm opening a new tab/window. Yes there's a keyboard shortcut to show/hide it (which doesn't even seem to work on my system) but why should I have to add two more steps to what used to be a one-step process? I'm especially bemused by the "wide" sidebar, as the icons are exactly the same size either way... All that changes is the orientation of the traffic-lights, which is equally dumb; they should always be along the top of the window to maintain consistency across apps.

Hola, concuerdo contigo sobre la barra lateral que sea todo o nada. Personalmente solo me gusta al verla en el acceso rápido y es fastidiosa al verla en un sitio web.
Una solución para mí fue regresar a opera 58 hasta que opera arregle este asunto de la barra lateral.
