Is it possible to replace Speed-Dial page with recent tabs page (like Chrome)?

I would much prefer my new tab page to just show recent pages instead of the Speed-Dial page -- is there any way to disable Speed-dial in favor of just showing recent tabs?
Am using version 39.0.2256.48
Any help would be greatly appreciated -- thank you!

Not possible. Don't know if an extension can do it.
