Problems with custom engine

Hi, I'm very new to Opera and how it works. I've been having issues for the past few days regarding integrating a custom search engine called Ecosia to Opera. I've looked up many videos, tutorials, and articles explaining how to do this, yet I can never have Opera recognize it to my default search engine. Is there something I'm doing wrong that I don't know about or is it up to Opera to decide to make Ecosia a default search engine?

Only pre-defined search engines can be set as the default one.

@leocg Damn...well, at least I have the google chrome store to help me get the extension for Ecosia. Maybe someday when Opera plans to go through another update, we can ask if they can add Ecosia to the list of pre-defined search engines? I can only hope.
