Session Cookies are reset after reboot

Actually this happens once in a couple of months. When I open my Opera, I need to login again all sites I had already logged in. Opera still remembers my passwords therefore I just need to click "Login" button for most but this makes me uncomfortable for some of them.
Using Ubuntu 18.04 64 bit with 57.0.3098.102 Opera version.

Opera 58. Still same issue. I had to login all sites again. Sessions are lost.

@leocg said in Session Cookies are reset after reboot:
It's not exactly uncommon that some sites ask you to login again after a while.
Those sites keep you logged in in other browsers?
Not some sites, all of them. Literally I have to login everyone again. Also Steam (website) doesn't even remember this computer, I have to verify from email.
But i realized today, it might be related to Ubuntu key store. It was always ask me password after i click Opera, but not sure if it asked me before this problem happens.

I can confirm. It didn't ask me password while I start Opera. Then I had to login all sites again. Problem related to how Opera stores session information.

It should only need to ask once per session. That is to say, I use both Opera and Vivaldi, between them I only get asked once (by whichever runs first) until I log out of my desktop. If I close Opera and do something else for a while then go back to Opera it doesn't ask me then either (unless I logged out of the desktop)..
Now, if it asks but you somehow lose the dialog (behind another window, or close it by accident or some such) then Opera won't know any passwords ... but it also won't lose them. If you close Opera then try again all the old passwords will still be there, as it couldn't save them because you weren't logged in to the password manager.
I presume there must be a way to reset the password manager, but I'm also sure you'd know if you had..
