[Solved]Unwanted entries in speed dial

Hi, over the last week or so have been having additions in the speed dial window
that I cannot delete, they a very annoying(to me anyway).
Wonder if anyone could help me out with this problem ? which would be very much appreciated.

You can see my speed dial entries, the one's below in white are the problem
there are heaps of the them and have not been able to delete them.Help please...........

Menu > Settings > Start Page or you can also use Easy Setup.

@leocg Thank you for your reply. Where do I go once on start page ? Not sure what to activate or what to do.

Disable news on start page.
