Explaining features better in help documents

Hi,
I just wished to change how Opera behaves when a site asks for notifications so I went to the settings. The sentence that describe the switch leaves me with a doubt about how it will behave if I deactivate it.
It basically states "Ask for authorisation before sending (recommended)"

So now how should I interpret it?
Don't ask and allow sites from sending notifications
or
Don't ask and deny sites from sending notifications

I then went to the Opera help but no info provided there allow me to even determine this.

I also checked a few other features such as geolocation, mike, camera and the like this is the same thing.

I would suggest several things:

• Change the doc so it explicitly explains the effect of both states.

• Change the label so it at least gives good hints on what will be the behaviour. Maybe changing the label along with the related switch state.
  For instance "Activated: you will be asked ....." "Deactivated: Sites will be [allowed | denied] by default"

• Best solution: Give explicit choices meaning changing the control from switches to drop down, radio buttons or 3 state switches. Anyway giving it the possibility to set Allow, Deny or Ask.

The easier and faster change would be just updating the documentation.

Test in Chrome to see better wording. For example, when you goto the URL chrome://settings/content/notifications in Chrome and disable "ask", you'll see that the description switches to "blocked". In Opera, the behavior is the same even if Opera's wording for the disabled state is ambiguous.

Opera's description for the disabled state makes the assumption that you know that Opera would never let notifications happen automatically without asking.

Just note that in either state for "ask", the allow and block lists override the setting for that domain in question.

It's an On/Off switch, so if it's deactivated, notifications will not be accepted. And if it's turned on, they will be accepted but you will be asked to allow it in the first time the site tries to send a notification.

As mentioned, originally the string/wording used to change when you turned the switch on or off but lots of people started complaining that it was confusing, so people at Opera decided to keep the wording unchanged.
