Opera 9.21 spontaneously closes.

I've been running Opera 9.21 for several years. (I am not interested in "upgrading.") This evening, it suddenly started spontaneously closing, sometimes while just sitting there. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but it still does it. Anybody have any suggestions???

Did you also delete your profile to start with a new one? If not, the issue could be in the profile folder. You could rename operaprefs.ini (not operaprefs_default.ini) to see if that fixes anything. You could delete autosave.win in the sessions folder. Mail is definitely a possibility.
