Cannot Play Videos in Website

Hi. I have Opera version 57.0.3098.91 and have consistent issues playing video in web pages. Here is an example with any of the videos at the bottom of this page:
The error I receive is this:
This video is either unavailable or not supported in this browser
Error Code: MEDIA_ERR_SRC_NOT_SUPPORTED
Technical details:
The video could not be loaded, either because the server or network failed or because the format is not supported.I've looked around and the best I've found is that Opera does not support certain codecs. Are their add-ins I can use? I have the YouTube HTML5 add-in already, which solved that specific issue, but I cannot believe something as simple as web video would not be supported in current versions, regardless of common codec. Please help. Thanks.

Windows 10. I can play the videos in Chrome and IE. I have read many posts, many 3 years old where people say they can play it, but plenty cannot. None of those posts ended in a solution. I'm hoping to find someone who's seen this before and fixed it or someone who knows how Opera works enough to point out the error of my configuration.
@leocg : my PC does not have Windows Media Player on it. It is Win10 Enterprise edition. Again, videos play fine on other browsers, so clearly seems Opera related.

There's a recently thread on this same issue. Windows Enterprise edition again. https://forums.opera.com/topic/29920/opera-not-loading-videos
