Whatsapp client is lagging really bad

Hello,

I don't know why but a few days ago my Whatsapp client started lagging and it's unusable as of now. Is there a way to fix it or do i have to reinstall?

I found the solution! The problem is the popular browser extension Honey, which i recently installed. When i disable it, everything works just fine again, quite unfortunate that i am not able to try out honey anymore.
