How do I sync bookmarks from old laptop to new

I have logged into the "Synchronisation" page on both laptops but it ask for a passphrase and this is the first time. So there is NO pass phrase

Did you change your Opera account password recently?

@leocg No . I did not change my password.
I just need some direction on how to go about getting my bookmarks off an old laptop to this new laptop
I can open the synchronization page on both laptops but then what do I do? There doesn't seem to be clear directions other than the "RESET"

Once you log in to sync, your synced bookmarks should be fetched to the new Opera installation.

The bookmarks sync ed as "Imports" from Internet explorer which surprised me. However everything I wanted transferred came through
