Hi,
I've just downloaded Opera, changed my password because i didn't know it anymore.
So now i wanted to sync my laptop and phone, it asked me for a passphrase. So i entered the password i just made, but it says it's wrong. So i clicked 'forgot password' (again). Entered a new password, same story. I get logged in, but the passphrase is incorrect.
Why is this dubble password even a thing...
Help me please.
The weird thing is, i can see the tabs i have opened on my phone on my laptop and the other way around. I can even see the bookmarks.. But it KEEPS ASKING me for a passphrase.
I hope you can help
Gr

@stventje The passphrase is the password you use for sync, not the one you use to sign into Opera. Sadly, Opera android/mobile does not support the sync passphrase which is a major problem that has been going on for as long as I can remember and has no sign of ever being fixed by the devs. If you actually have a sync passphrase as well as a Opera password, the only way to sync your devices is to reset the sync data. It'll keep the data on your devices so nothing should be lost, just the data on the cloud will be lost.

Hi. Funny thing is, that I never create passphrase. And it is still shows exclamation mark next user icon on the top left corner. Also sync.opera.com shows that there are saved passwords.
My laptop was stolen, so now I don't have that info anywhere and I really need password that is on cloud. Any other way to retrieve it?
