Opera 56: Flash still not working.

I have followed all and every step as given in the Adobe site to enable Flash in Opera. I have been doing this for successive versions, and none of them have every worked. I have to admit to becoming some what frustrated, as Opera is the best browser in my opinion bar this issue. I have tried the most recent version of Vivaldi and it works perfectly. I'm using Windows 10.
Is there any missing magic out there - this should be easy.
Thanks

Ok - I will do what you recommend, however, I have just established that Firefox and Chrome also run Flash right out the box as well. I find it curious that with Opera I have to jump through hoops of fire. Ugh. Their developers need a kick up the bum. :o)

@leocg Brilliant - followed your advice and now Opera is running Flash. However, how do I now restore all my passwords and bookmarks etc? I did backup my profile folder. Using windows 10, Opera 56.
Thanks
