Storing passwords

I am new to Opera, in settings " privacy and security " I have passwords and auto fill set to ON. My question is why am I repeatably being requested to sign into Microsoft account.
Using Google Chrome a pop up would appear asking that I sore this password,unlike Opera' it has not been blocked in privacy either.

Because remembering your login and password is not the same as remembering that you are logged in.

You need to check if the site has an option to remember you, so the site will not disconnect you.
