Setting Lastpass in task bar

Hi,

I have just decided to give Opera browser a trial, and once set up i tried to add my Lastpass password manager to the task bar, but with no luck.

Even though I am using it on Firefox and Internet Explorer I dont seem to be able to add it to Opera.

Can someone please give me some guidance on this.

Does Last Pass says that Opera is supported?

@leocg My original search told me that Opera was supported by Lastpass, but I just found this notice from lastpass indicating there is a problem:

"Since the update of Opera from 30 to 32, the autofill function has been broken. Unfortunately, it is not something that LastPass could control; Opera needs to fix this. Please use LastPass copy function when using Opera on Android devices. Otherwise, please switch to Chrome browser or LastPass browser."

@leocg Sorry leocg. I manage to find my way around basic computer prob,ems but i an not a guru by any means.

I got nowhere trying to add the extension.

What happened when you tried to install it?

It just didn't install. I did receive a message, which I can't remember now, but it did advise that there was some incompatibility between Lastpass and Opera.

Thanks for the attemps to help leocg. I only installed opera as a trial, to see how it was, and have decided not to persevere with trying to add Lastpass to it. I have been using Firefox very happily for many years and have decided to still use it as my main browser.

Will probably keep Opera on my PC for general searches though.
