You have to "aim" to close tabs

Hi!
New user here :x
It is a very silly issue but I come from Chrome where I got some habits, including pushing quickly my mouse max to the top and middle click to close the tab.
If I do this in Opera, it won't work, because doesn't seem to understand my mouse is on a tab if I don't mouseover the name of the tab. Here, I tried to middle click on the top, and then to lower a bit my mouse:

I've tried to find related issues about this but was not able to find them on the forums (but using the wording "middle click close tab" is probably not helping :D). Are some people having the same issue? How did you fix it?
It's a tiny and stupid issue but as I do this very often during the day, it's pretty annoying :x
Thank you!

In "Menu -> Settings -> Browser" with "show advanced settings" checked, do you have "disable tab bar's top spacing" checked or unchecked?

@burnout426 I'll try thanks! I'm at my parents for a few days so won't be able to try, but I'll come back here and will let you know!
