      Hi,
      I was wondering why Strict Site Isolation (#enable-site-per-process) under Opera://flags isn't enabled by default yet with all the Spectre and Meltdown variants in hindsight. It's been half a year ago.

      Chrome on the other hand: https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/news/security/google-enables-site-isolation-feature-for-99-percent-of-chrome-desktop-users/

          @leocg Thanks for your reply.
          Why so late though? Shouldn't this be a priority?

            A while back when the vulnerabilities were announced, I tried enabling it. But, it made Chrome unstable and broke a few sites, so I reverted it to disabled and it's still disabled for me. I might give it another shot though to see if things are better.

              @kassandra1 Because this is not how things work. Site isolation is a big change in how browser deal with pages and it had been causing issues that needed to be fix so the feature could be enabled by default.

              Chrome only enabled it by default recently too.
