Opera Mini works OK on BB10 - but it doesn't seem to compress pages, as expected.
I am collecting data, but it appears it downloads about the same amount of data as is on the actual page.Feel free to test on my pages (plain HTML, no scripts)>
radable.com/pub/datestIt might be because of BB10 security, but that's just my pure specualtion. After all, it should connect directly to norweigan servers...
Tested ver. 32.0 2254.123747 (both apk over manual, and through Playstore (Cobalt))
-on both Blackberry Q10 (excellent keyboard! give me that on Android!), and Blackberry Classic (perfect size combination of keyboard and touch). -

@redkeys btw, the web is simply a page that loads exactly 150kb of data (mostly plain text, some html).
Alternatively, on the page, you can use a link that loads exactly 500kb of jpeg pictures. -

@leocg I tested extreme (images off) and auto. There was a difference, but still didn't seem to make sense. There was quite a big upload chunk too, if i remember well.
To get some hard data, I will use the {downloaded} data invoiced by the network and screenshots. -

If you try to gzip all the text that is on the page, you get 44kB of data. You could possibly go below with some different compression algorithm, but not very much.
Opera Mini compression will be visible more likely on some more advanced pages with CSS, JS, images etc. On the page provided, there's simply not much that can be compressed.
