      @leocg

      Really?

      Any useful suggestions? Like which ones to start with or link to some debug log generation instructions?

        Found it - it's Enable video pop-out. As it's been working so far, I assume it's Opera issue.

          @xyzzy It was a useful suggestion. You just copy one folder/file at a time to the new profile until you find out which one is causing the issue.
          Usually it's better to start with 'preferences' and 'local state'.

            @xyzzy Does it crash just when you try to use video pop-out?

              @leocg I'm having the issue too, and it seems to happen as soon as opera so much as tries to load the video.
              So no.

                @leocg

                The crash is immediately after video attempts to start playing (automatically or after clicking some kind of Play button). There is no time to attempt to use the pop-out.

                I truly believed that there is some kind of debug logging for Opera after all these years...

                  @hate9 And does the problem still happens with a clean profile?

                    @xyzzy If the problem doesn't happen with a clean profile then that setting is not the cause.

                      @leocg

                      It is, because changing it solves the problem - simple logic.
                      It is not the only factor though, because with other profile it doesn't cause the problem - as can be inferred from earlier posts.

                      This is pretty standard situation when bug depends on multiple factors.

                        @xyzzy The setting is enabled by default, so if it was causing the issue then it would happen also with a clean profile.
                        There's probably a problem in the profile that is being triggered by enabling the video pop-out.

                          As per bug ticket update, this problem is fixed in a future version.
