"Chromecast doesn't work, but we are working on the fix. Unfortunately, it takes much more time than expected, so please be patient."
I don't understand:
- If I'm not wrong, part of Chromium it's owned from Google.
- Chrome it's form Google.
- I suppose, Opera and Google has a "good" relationship.
- Google has ChromeCast and shares Blink with Opera.
Why do not use their code to use their platform ¿? If it's possible to improve it from Opera, better, but at least, make it workable for Opera users.
Which is the real problem?Sorry if it's Off Topic

Patiently waiting but just wanted to add this is getting critical, I'm sick and tired of chromes memory leaks, No matter what I cast to my chromecast, after about 5-10 minutes the chromebrowser crashes stating it is out of memory. Opera is my default browser and I love it the best for many reasons, would love to be able to cast using opera.

But it doesn't work.
It works after enabling flag opera://flags/#media-router
But casting Youtube and Twitch still not working. Application on TV shows "Ready to Cast - pick a broadcast from your device to start watching on your TV"
Works only mirror desktop.
In Chrome works perfectly.
In Opera Dev doesn't work at all.
Any ideas? -
