OMenu > About Opera
- Install path - go with the Explorer -.
- Locate latest version folder.
- Rename opera_autoupdate.exe file inside it.
To update later, roll back the steps or use the offline installer.

@ladyzepp
Ups!
In your case, you have to rename the file inside O48xxxx version, since after the downgrade you'll have the 48 and the newer/broken 49.

@zalex108 But during installation it automatically updates to the latest. And as first thing when internet connected...

When wrote the comment had came to my head, but didn't added it...
Despite that... maybe was browsing for a while until rename the file, so Opera had time to check and download the new version.
At the other hand,
don't know if closing Opera during downloading the first Kb/Mb update, whether the file still downloads on the background or it's canceled until the next start up."You cannot know the meaning of your life until you are connected to the power that created you". · Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi

@zalex108 I think that if one clears temp folders (Windows) before closing the browser, it can't update as the installation files are gone - for time being -

But if they are not fully downloaded don't know if the file it's:
- Canceled
- Pending to be fully downloaded at the next start up.
- Downloaded on the background despite Opera it's closed.
