Opera shuts down before it comes on screen

I use Window 10. The latest version of Opera, 34.0.2036.47 of 1/19/2016 does open and, without even being shown on the screen, shuts down immediately, as shown by the pop-up "CC Cleaner has cleaned Opera".The problem started after installing this latest version.
How can I get back to the previous version, .25?

Try an upgrade to 34.0.2026.50 and see if the issue still happens.

HI.
similar problem with Opera not starting in Windows 10.
I have downloaded and installed twice.
I have HP laptop with McAfee AV. On two different HP laptops. Opera works on one (thisone) and fails to start on the other? Click on the desktop icon, short spin, nothing. I watch the task manager and Nothing OPERA related pops up.

Not sure what to do or why it fails?
