Can't Customize Speed Dial Page

Can anyone tell me how to delete the Google task bar/address box from the Speed Dial page? I was able to delete everything else from my background but can't seem to find any instruction on how to make this last eyesore go away.

As already answered several times, you can't delete it but you can hide it. Go to settings and enable advanced settings.
