Speed Dial Replacing Enter

Hi. In the last few days, since updating my OS to High Sierra, every time I use the Enter button in Opera to select an item or choice I get a new Speed Dial tab opened instead. i am forced to switch to Safari to coninue my work. Has this happened elsewhere and is there a fix?

Don't really know about Mac, but you might try using the spacebar instead.
