With the recent software implementation of Opera (49.0.2725.39) Opera has
      become a totally unusable browser.

      1. Opera no longer supports Flash. Many sites are built on Flash and are no longer usable.
      2. Opera Synchronization no longer works. Maintaining multiple systems using Opera is essential to many. Without it Opera is useless.
Guess it's time to move back to Mozilla. Don't love that platform but at least it works.

Both Flash and Sync still work for me. Regarding Flash, you need to allow it to run on every site when you visit that site for the first time and try to run any Flash content.

As a reference note, and while it is indeed still 3 years away, Adobe announced some time back that it is killing Flash efforts by the end of 2020. By that point, websites requiring Flash will have either dropped it or will force their visitors to operate a no-longer supported, historically-vulnerable piece of software.

Firefox will drop Flash support in 2019. From Mozilla's July 25, 2017 blog: "Starting next month, users will choose which websites are able to run the Flash plugin. Flash will be disabled by default for most users in 2019, and only users running the Firefox Extended Support Release (ESR) will be able to continue using Flash through the final end-of-life at the end of 2020. In order to preserve user security, once Flash is no longer supported by Adobe security patches, no version of Firefox will load the plugin."

i almost posted a new thread why peeps are having so many problems with flash. i don't mean to be rude but my guess is the enduser in most of these cases did something. the worst i had is when i forhot to rerun flash after my install of opera. alls been good since on stable, beta, and developer. as for sync i don't use it since i can bcompletely backup opera with hekasoft, or just save a copy of the parent folder in appdata.

Got an update to Flash like 12 hours ago. Previosly I disabled it in Opera and some sites had trouble so I guess it's still relevant 😞 anyhow where di option to "click to play" go? 😯

@rudrick That option never really worked well and due to the recent changes in Chromium regarding Flash, it probably needed to be removed.
