the fabulous turbo function has for ages allowed us to browse freely and securely throughout the internet, even in the uk where isp are being forced to censor certain content...
over the past week or so more and more links seem to be inaccessible both randomly and site wide, with the standard
"has been ordered by the High Court to block access to this website", disclaimer appearing instead of the page.
is this something that can be fixed in someway or have the forces of darkness squeezed yet another ray of light from our blighted world?

      thanks for this lovely software..

I'm not with Opera ASA but I think what?

        1. Opera might have put one of their Turbo servers within the UK's jurisdiction.
        2. Norway might have entered some pact - like Europe-wide or otherwise, some pack of nations having signed something.

        Solutions?

        1. Trying to find a proxy server somewhere else? An alternative to Opera's Turbo one.
        2. Using a certain software that already implies secret stuff, Tor-like...

Afaik Turbo was never meant to hide user location/ip so the sites may have been updated to better detect those info even if the user is behind a proxy.

Usually a VPN works better in cases like this.
