Opera extension has virus/malware

I'm not sure the proper channel to alert about this, but I just added an extension called 'Flash Video Downloader (FVD)' to be able to save flash videos. Along with it came a virus/malware that tracks any shopping I do as well as cluttering my screen with ads.

Is there a way to mark the extension from your download site to warn others until they can route out whatever this virus thing is. As it is now, it's an unsafe extension.

I see you already reported it as an issue on the FVD extension's download page, nothing else I could do from here. Being the weekend we may not have anyone official look at this page soon.

if you are having issues with fvd you can bet it's one of the saved speeddials. find it and remove it. i went through this a few weeks back. i'm using fvd in both opera and chrome and all extensions including fvd speeddial are up to date and working in both browsers just fine.

There are recurring comments of this exact issue on the Issues tab of the extension page, so I would have to wonder...
