VPN stopped working after the 48 update!!!

Hi Guys,
I have 48 in my OSX and VPN just doesn't connect anymore. My brother is having the old 46 and VPN is working trouble free
Any idea?

@mehrdadr Have you tried connecting via a specific country, rather than the optimal location setting? I've found it's often more stable if I select a specific country.

Hi,
There is no choice other than the optimal!!! Normally when you are able to connect then you can change but this version simply has a serious problem. Strange is that Opera ruined a well working browser by this update! Doesn't seem to be a reliable browse I think.

Well, it's not woking and you are right this is the feature that made me use Opera and now it's not working!!! So it had an advantage for me and many others that is not working.

Well, it's not woking and you are right this is the feature that made me use Opera and now it's not working!!! So it had an advantage for me and many others that is not working.
the vpn is a nice bonus, but what grabbed me is opera's speed opening. it's easily 1/10th the time of firefox.

That's already on top! After updating to 48 version VPN stopped working! That's so real in fact!!!
Guess people get heart broken when somebody reports a problem right?

Rather than arguing, wouldn't it make more sense to try out Opera 49 and see if that works any better?

amen to that, though as i said i my first post in the thread that the vpn seems to be working now. at least on my end. from what i see of 49 seems solid and as fast as ever.

@chuchkyschild Updated to 49 yesterday and have the same result. Downloads start and then fail quickly.
