So after for some time I am unable to figure out how to add more room above the tabs... Most people want to reduce the "wasted space". I have several monitors all 4k and the space isn't wasted. I can't seem to grab the window to move it without getting a tab instead or missing the window entirely. This is keeping me back at v44. Would love to update but this makes it unusable (at least for me). Any suggestions or a way to change the UI so I can actually use the latest version? Most applications refer to the area as a Title Bar, Opera doesn't seem to have a Title so not sure what to call that space.

        You can't do it.

Figured as much. Follows suite. Opera is going to garbage...
          Starting at v45:
passwords don't save (done several fresh installs - include OS reload)
account sync doesn't work. Have created a total of 5 Opera Sync accounts all with the same issues.
Browser is now slow and buggy. Used to have 300-400 tabs open and now it starts to die at 50.
This new UI is terrible for productivity and just looks ugly. I realize some people have smaller resolutions but for those of us who don't these changes destroy usability. (Currently have 8x 4K and 2x 2K and this makes it so I can't move anything around.)

Just tried Firefox out again (been a couple years since I moved to Opera. It's FAST, I mean faster than Opera. I couldn't believe it. Will probably start migrating back to it.

Opera just became the old Firefox, go figure.

Thanks for letting me know I wouldn't find it. Have wasted enough time on that 🙂
