Bit puzzled by this. When I have https://www.amazon.co.uk/ as the address in a speed dial, clicking it brings me to https://www.amazon.de/gp/switch-language/homepage.html/?tag=operadesktop14-sd-de-generic-21&ie=UTF8&language=en_GB
Easy enough to work around. I use a bookmarks bar also and amazon.co.uk stored there will call up the correct page. Just curious why its happening in the first place. I'm in Ireland and don't use anything to mask my location

I had a similar thing. I had my VPN set to a US location and I got ads in the Russian language.
Then I changed the VPN location to Germany and my huffpost.com on the book marks bar automatically changed to huffpost.de when I clicked on it. VPN does some weird things. More often than not I have to turn it off completely to even access certain websites. -

Custom speed dial entry, or one of the ones that came with Opera? That "operadesktop" there makes me think it came with Opera. One you added yourself should be the same as a bookmark.
Good catch. Yes, this was added from suggestions. I removed it and added amazon.co.uk back in manually and presto, it works.
Re VPN - not using one, this seems to be something Opera is doing on its own. However, as mentioned above adding manually has solved it.
