Thank you for answering so quickly, leocg. But I'm somewhat of a dope. You're telling me that the UAC popup is normal? At least for now the popup is normal?

If the bug was the appearance of a UAC popup every time Opera is launched, then perhaps the bug wasn't fixed after all, as today is the first day I've ever seen it, and I use Opera every day. Hopefully the browser team gets word of this; it's a deal breaker for me.

Opera 48 developer build?
I'm using this version:
Version : 47.0.2631.39 (PGO) - Opera is up to date
Update stream: Stable
System : Windows 7 64-bit (WoW64)Additional Issue
In first level view of "Speed Dail" the bookmarks inside folders have changed colors, that is before you open the folder. Inside the folder the colors of the bookmark icons is as it used to be...... -

Thank you leocg. Not being rude taking so long to reply, just sleeping. Thanks for your commitment to this forum.
Which version I'm using? Version 47.0.2631.39 (PGO), the same as solplassen. I did notice a change in colors on the speed dial page yesterday, so I assumed that the introduction of the UAC bug I originally pointed out happened with an update taken yesterday; I'd be more specific, but I see no indication of the date of the most recent update on the "About" page of the Opera browser.
Opera 48 developer build; I'm not sure how to find this. Usually I install whatever opera.com is currently offering, while enjoying the automatic updates.
I feel certain that this little bug will be sorted out in short order. Thank you for the discussion.

They are not related.

You can find it in Desktop Team Blog. Be in mind that a developer build can have several and/or serious issues.

Yes, I realized that any change in appearance on the speed dial page was probably unrelated to the UAC bug; I was simply pointing out that a change in appearance is a little clue that an Opera update was recently taken.
So I can find that developer build in Desktop Team Blog. I see! Mmmmm. A developer build can have several and/or serious issues. Thanks for the warning and for explaining where to find it. I'm just not that adventurous! Thanks to your explanations, I feel that the UAC bug is something I can live with for awhile. You've put my mind at ease.
