Speed Dial Hack?

In speed dial, there is a google search window at the top.
Does anyone know how how to:

• get rid of this google default search window
• replace it with a startpage default search window?

I already have start page in speed dial,
as one of the items.
I know how to do that.
I want startpage TO BE THE DEFAULT search engine.

I got rid of the Google search bar, but did not see any way to replace it with something else.
There is a menu button at the top right corner of the Speed Dial. Uncheck "Search Box" to get rid of that search.

Ok...first step... google GONE.
Now...how to replace that box with startpage as the default!
