Try cleaning cookies and cache.
Also, disable all extensions if you are using any. Checking anti-virus and/or similar softwares may be interesting too.So I've cleared cookies and cache up to the time the issue occurred. Nothing changed, still crashes when syncing.
I've checked my antivirus and firewall. I'm only using the built-in windows firewall which currently is allowing all public and private connections for Opera Browser.
When the crash occurrs, Opera will re-boot having automatically disabled all extensions, instructiong me that I'm able to re-enable them via the entensions menu. Nonetheless I disabled them, but the crash still occurs.
I'm currently using Opera on a third computer. I've installed the beta version 46.0.2597.11 (PGO) as I did with the second machine yesterday, only this time it's not crashing. I have no idea what is different this time.
Am I missing something?

Okay, for some inexplicable reason, the sync web page has begun working.
Was there something you wanted me to do with it?

I can confirm this problem with Opera 45 on both Windows10 and Xubuntu 16.04LTS. I created a complete new local profile on Xubuntu, but that didn't help. They only solution that's working so far is disabling Opera Sync on the affected installations.

Hello guys, any solution to that?
Multiple desktop versions of opera now crash with my account - latest for Win8.1, Linux Ununtu 16.10, 17.04,...
Crashes started around time tab sync was fixed in Opera for android, in the end of June.No extensions are used. I need my sync between devices and bookmarks.
It is sad, but I am forced to use other browsers.

Same issue here on fresh installation. Sync setting up sync just crashes browser. https://sync.opera.com/web/ works fine.
